Road closure between Bad Bertrich and Alf from June 8 until early 2027
Dear guests, please take note of the changed traffic routing from Bad Bertrich to the Moselle when planning your vacation.
Direct access to the Moselle via the L103 is no longer possible from Bad Bertrich East. You can reach Alf via a short detour through Hontheim > Kinderbeuern > Alf-Höllental. The map shows the revised traffic routing from the direction of the Moselle and can be downloaded as a PDF file via the link on the right.
Connections to the Eifel are not affected by this. The Vulkaneifel with its maars, as well as access to the Moselle via Traben-Trarbach, Bernkastel, Ediger-Eller, and Cochem, can all be reached within half an hour via the mountain routes.
As things stand at the moment, however, public transportation continues to run hourly from the spa center to Alf and Bullay.
It’s a great, stress-free way to treat yourself to an extra glass of Moselle wine and let someone else drive you back—why not give it a try?
