Chess players from all over the world meet in Bad Bertrich for the 28th time. This year the chess days will take place for the first time in the renovated Kursaal. About 100 participants compete for the challenge cup worth 400€.

The Chess Days take place for the Eligibility: Open to players born in 1973 and older (50+). All players must present a FIDE ID at registration. Players without a FIDE ID can apply for one for the German Federation via the DSB as described at https://www.schachbund.de/fide-identifikationsnummer.html.

Membership in a club is not necessary.
